Canal cruises are a right of passage into the St Francis lifestyle. Cruising between the beautiful white waterside houses, you can pack a picnic and a cooler box and enjoy a leisurely ride through the canals and up the Kromme River.

Find the market under the trees, behind St Francis Brewing Company, and shop at the vast variety of stalls from fresh produce, yummy treats, great coffee, original art, designer clothing and handmade crafts.

Crowned ‘the Father of Surf Films’, Bruce Brown in turn exposed this local swell that starred in the film, Endless Summer, later to be dubbed as ‘Bruce’s Beauties’.
Join the likes of legendary surfers, Mike Hynson and Robert August, and ride through the barrels of this iconic surf spot.
Out of all the St Francis activities, this may be the most breathtaking.
Predominantly between October and January, you can view these majestic giants of the sea, just off of the St Francis Bay coast.

Being the most south-east point of Africa, Cape St Francis is one of the few points in the world where you can watch the sun both rise and set over the ocean.

Take the first road to your right, as you enter Cape St Francis. Follow it all the way and then jump out and make your way down to the rocks.
